In mid-February, Linda Brewer joined Mike and Dwayne for dinner on a Friday night at Tahula’s Garden in Philadelphia. What made this dinner a bit different, thanks to COVID19, was the trio eating outside in 28-degree weather.
Our hearts go out to Mary, Sharon and Tracy Picus of Tempest Morgans on the loss of husband/father Gerald V. Picus. Even though he didn’t travel to shows, he loved to watch the family’s Morgans turned out in the field.
Allyson Wandtke and Tony Lee visited the farm in mid-February and had fun with their horses.
The first Jane Bennett Boot Camp of the 2021 Show Season was held the last weekend in February. We had more than seven barn family members in for the long weekend of hard work and overdue fun comradery. The Broadmoor gang had lunches at DeMarcos. Friday night, they had make-your-own take out from CaliBurrito and dessert from Premise Maid. Saturday night, they enjoyed take out from Curious Goods at the Bake Oven Inn.
Last week, Dwayne escaped the cold with a quick trip to Florida to visit with his mother.
