Changing Stalls
During the Superior Morgan Sale, Kim Cramer sold her mare, Brown Eyed Girl (Ingate’s Eye of the Tiger x Miz Saturn Star). Assistant Trainer John Velardi rode her through the sale.
Mike and Dwayne purchased Cedar Creek Hell’s Bells (HVK Bell Flaire x Cedar Creek Wind Chime), who sold in foal to Dressed Up.
Tony Lee purchased the weanling bay filly, PAMF Mercedes (Ingate’s Eye of the Tiger x Uninhibited). He also purchased a grandson to Astronomicallee, with a cross to Noble Flaire on the dam’s side, SHAM Battle Cry (WRR Astro Boy x Legendary Dare to Flaire). He looks forward to driving the five-year-old gelding.
Leslie Hurst purchased Newmont’s French Bell Boy from Kim Cramer. She will continue to show the stallion under saddle in the 2023 show season.
Laurie Sterling purchased VDM Game On. She looks forward to riding the eight-year-old gelding in the upcoming show season.
News From the Broadmoor Gang
After the sale, Dwayne and Mike escaped to their favorite vacation location, Key West, FL. They enjoyed relaxing in the sun, riding bikes, shopping at unique boutiques, dining and area nightlife.
Dwayne and Mike enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner locally at Curious Goods at the Bake Oven Inn. They were joined by Dwayne’s brother, Greg, and his wife, Jess
The following two weekends, various members of the Broadmoor Gang stopped by the farm to work with their new horses or just to get back in the saddle for the first time since OKC.
On the morning of Christmas eve, Dwayne and Mike will host a brunch for the staff at nearby Demarco’s. They will enjoy gift giving and sharing humorous stories from the past year.
